Gui Fei Oolong Tea

There are two Beauty teas in Taiwan which are Gui Fei Oolong and Oriental Beauty (Eastern Beauty) 

The Gui fei oolong was found after the big earthquake on 21 September 1999 in Dong Ding, Nantou area when people busying in rebuild their house, family therefore farmers lack care of their tea garden. The tea leaf are bite by green leafhopper.  To produce the Oriental beauty (Bai Hao Oolong) are just need the green leafhopper bite the leaf. It bring out the honey character of the tea taste and smell. The more bugs bite the stronger honey smell shows after producing. The origin of Oriental Beauty (Bai Hao Oolong) is in the northern Taiwan at Maio Li, Xin Zhu area.  To distinguish the difference from north but still keep the old tradition of the dong ding oolong tea that therefore they decided to produce round ball shape and named Gui Fei Oolong

Gui fei is an Kings concubine in Tang dynasty. She is one of the four  major well known beauty in Chinese history.   

Our Gui Fei Oolong tea is more then 40% fermented and little rosted to bring out stronger honey smell as also it would make the tea smoothly when you taste. The smell would lingering in your mouth for while then back to gan.
