Li Shan Oolong is a high mountain cultivar that is grown at 2,300 to 2,800 meters above sea level.  At this altitude temperatures vary dramatically between night and day, thus Li Shan Oolong sprouts very slowly.  Slow growth enables the plant to fully absorb the various minerals from the fertile soil.

Li Shan Oolong is a bewitching emerald green color that transforms into an amber green when it is brewed. It is sweet to the taste, yet it is packed with full-bodied tea flavor.

The aroma of the tea is laden with tropical fruit scents, a bequest from nearby plantations.

Li Shan Oolong is an exceptional tea because it is grown on the clean mountains of Taiwan. You can almost taste the pure air, and water that nourished these beautiful plants.
