Dong Ding tea is one of the most outstanding Oolong teas in Taiwan. It is famous for its excellent quality, color, flavor and sheer beauty.  It is grown in the mountains of Natou, in the center of the island, at an elevation of 800~1000 ft.

It is a partially fermented tea, at about 20%, with a fragrance reminiscent of flowers and tropical fruits. Dong Ding Oolong immediately gets your attention with a fragrance that conveys sultry blooms, mown grass and water crackers.

Clear, pale yellow touched by green, this tea has an opulent yet gently sweet essence. The finish is clearly floral beneath a medium astringency. The tight, curled leaves expand five times when they are wet and steep a perfectly wonderful second and third time.
